Etheridge Seed Farms is located near Powell, Wyoming and the world famous Heart Mountain. With lots of sun, low humidity and very few weather events that damage crops, our location is ideal for producing many varieties of grass seed. Irrigation comes from mountain snowpack and is readily available, even in dry years. Almost all of Wyoming seed production comes from the basin where Etheridge Seed Farms is located.

Etheridge Seed Farms produce nearly 20 different varieties of grass seed, ranging from exotics like Volga Mammoth wild rye to niche fescues, foxtails and several wheat grasses. Basin Wild Ryes Garrison Meadow Foxtail Volga Mammoth Wild Rye Blue Gamma Crested Wheatgrass ... and many more.

The wide variety of specialized grass seed produced by Etheridge Seed Farms fill a variety of needs including mine and highway reclamation, CRP, forage for wildlife and cattle at calving time, and soil erosion control.

With on-site seed cleaning equipment, Etheridge Seed Farms clean about 300,000 pounds of seed each year. We also use herbicides, cultivate mechanically, and hand-rogue when possible to combat the introduction of noxious weeds.
